The opportunity: shape our expanded offering

As our new Crypto Consultant, you will play an important role in developing and strengthening our capabilities across key regulatory areas, including MiCAR, AML/KYC, GDPR, and in particular in the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing compliance programs that meet relevant regulations, specifically DORA, MiCAR, GDPR and Wwft.

  • Conducting risk assessments and establishing risk mitigation measures.

  • Managing internal audits and preparing reports for regulators and management.

  • Advising and training employees on compliance issues and best practices.

  • Staying updated on the latest developments and trends in cryptocurrency and blockchain regulations.

  • Maintaining client relationships and directly liaising with regulatory authorities and other external partners on behalf of our clients.

  • Assisting in setting up processes and procedures for new products and services.

Job requirements

 Experience:                             

o   Proven experience with in depth DORA compliance, advisory or consultancy.

o   Preferably: Minimum of 2 years experience in a compliance or consultancy role, preferably in the financial sector or within the crypto industry.

  Education:                                

o   Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in Law, Criminology, Business Administration, or Economics.

  Sector knowledge:               

o   Deep knowledge of Crypto. Understanding of crypto ecosystems and related technologies is a plus.

  Regulatory expertise:          

o   Deep knowledge of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) is a must.

Language:

o   Fluent in English both written and spoken (required) and preferably in Dutch or willing to learn.

Availability:

o   You are available full-time (contract based on 36 to 40 hours per week).

o   You are able to live and work in the Netherlands, without visa support from the company.

o  We expect you to be in the office and/or at clients at least twice a week.
